By accessing or using ShareCost ("the Service"), operated by BudgetBakers, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
ShareCost is an expense sharing application that allows users to track shared costs within groups, split expenses, and calculate settlements. The Service is available on iOS, Android, and Web.
3. User Accounts
- You must provide accurate information when creating an account
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
- You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' data
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service
- Upload malicious content or spam
5. User Content
You retain ownership of the data you create in the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store and process your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
6. Financial Disclaimer
ShareCost is a tool for tracking shared expenses and suggesting settlements. It does not process payments, transfer money, or provide financial advice. All financial transactions between users are conducted outside the Service. Currency conversions are approximate and should not be relied upon for financial decisions.
7. Service Availability
We strive to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service with reasonable notice.
8. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. BudgetBakers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
9. Termination
You may delete your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the Czech Republic.
